Kazakhstan 0:3 Germany: Goal Videos

Germany may have fallen short of my prediction by one goal, and may have allowed far too many adventures in their own half, but the goals and the scoreline look pretty. The biggest concern will be the apparent injury to Miroslav Klose and what life in a world where Mario Gomez scores will be like…

Klose 48′

Gomez 76′

Podolski 85′

Imagine if Gomez comes to life from here on out and lives up to the pre-Euro 2008 Austria/Swiss hype in 2012.

Meanwhile Austria looks like the only real challenger left in the group. Who do they think they are wearing black-white and made by Ruda ahem Puma no less. Typical agitators. The better black-whites will win in the end!

Damn I almost had a perfect calling. I said 3-0 with Klose, Kroos and Poldi scoring. Gomez sure surprised me! Whats next, Mario scoring for Bayern?!?!?

  • Bense235

Was an okay performance. They did what they had to do. A clockwork. A clockwork, a clockwork, a german clockwork. Ve are zee Maschinen.

Yea, the german Media is already talking like it was an even game from the start to the beginning.

Kazakhstan did a really good job, though. It really suprises me they didn't score yet. They got the tactic and also a fairly good technuiqe. So, many expected an easy win for germany with 5 or more goals? Well, I thought it was possible, too. Though, Kazahkstan showed quickly that the statistic and the numbers doesn't always display the actual strenght of a team… But in the end germany always showed that they've the control over the game, and apart from some defence mistake (which REALLY shouldn't have happened) they hardly get a good chance to make a real shot on target.

Gomez finish was awesome…Hope he continues to build his confidence and get back to being the player he can be…That would be the best thing for our team.A true replacement for Klose when he retires

I suppose no one has a replay of this match????????? For the second time, and in just a few days, ESPN Deportes fucked me over with a shitty feed which the DVR let me watch 5 minutes of the first half, 10 minutes of the second half before jumping straight to the end of the match.

  • ED

It should have been 5 or 6 to nil, but the first 45 minutes were wasted with less than inspiring finishing, Khedira should have nailed one of those headers and others wasted chances as well. It was just a matter of time before the Mannschaft started the big machine rolling down hill and when that happens you better get of the way.

It would be nice to see Gomez get on a streak before winter break to get his coonfidence going again and now would be the perfect time for him to start a hot streak.

Poldi's run was a thing of beauty and after I saw the ball go in the net I had to stand back and pick up my mouth from being on the floor, didn't expect that out of him and didn't know he had it in him.

Any word what kind of injury Klose has???

I am suprised that Turkey lost today and now that Austria has over taken them for second spot, but hey they are like our little brother who never gets any lime light, maybe they are due for some.

  • ED

The only thing that was even was that both teams had eleven men playing.

  • Nick_GWCB

It used to be the other way around way back when and how. The black-white reference was to a time when Germany met Austria in a game and both sides showed up in the same strip. Austria refused to change out of it despite being the away team.

I tend to think they never got over the whole German unification thing without them. ;-)

be aware that sometimes they repeat the whole game after the match day, as they repeated the game against Turkey…

    Luke,

Do you know why Cacau was in NT roster? I look it up his stats and record , he is below average for the NT standard. We have more forward who has higher goals or level than him in league playing. example ex NT forwards sub: Ulf Kirsten , Oliver Neuville , Karl-Heinz Riedle are hight scorer.

  • Jules

Ha, and he has; 4 times already. That's scary.
