Germany Qualifies

Though the match was held to a 0-0 draw, Germany have knocked out Ireland and will advance.  After a good run in the substitution field, Lukas Podolski will likely get the starting nod from Loew on Wednesday.

Also of note is that Germany striker Miroslav Klose returned to Bayern Munich’s training on Saturday and looks to make a return for the club at the weekend against Bochum.  This could be good news for Germany as well.
