Now that’s what I call service

July 5th, 2006 | By: Harvey Morrell | 31 Comments »

Listening to Antenne Bayern at work and noticed that , as a friendly gesture to today’s World Cup participants, they are doing the Munich traffic reports in French and Portuguese in addition to German.

Argentina had a very good tournament.. they performed very, very well and had a great chance. And who got carded after that game? a german player.. so germany was ‘kicking’ as much as argentina so you shouldnt be talking.

no way. the argis started it, the kick against Mertesacker was far beyond anything acceptable, Curfre was carded, frings was not, btw the referee was standing next to frings when he “attacked”, and i didn’t see a card, that’s proof enough its a shame that fifa suspended him

Gosh, my son now wants to fly to Germany just to see Odonkor play….
Lol @ Pruritus. ARGs immaturity cost the Germans Frings. That was extremely painful and they should be ashamed of themselves.

German, congratulations for fielding a superb team. You broke our hearts but won our respect! Thank you for giving the world a lesson on how to play quality, attacking football without all the diving and silliness.

Renewed German Fan:
Keep dreaming….after the elimination stage, in which they were absolutely lousy, the Germans were assigned a very weak group, and after they kept limping on till they found a real strong team, Italy.
As for attacking, Italy attacked constantly, and in the supplementary times had 4 (four) strikers forward. It hit the post, and the crossbar before scoring.
The most brutal foul ever was by the German goalkeeper Schumacher, who elbowed a French
player, breaking his teeth, cracking his skull, and sending him to the hospital for days.
Bye, Fritz! don’t get lost on the Autobahn when you go home from Dortmund!

Even your team’s manager doesn’t want to live in Germany….he rather commute.

Excuse me from being frank ,but what can you expect from a humble pizza delivery man, a primadonna, a diver ,silliness and crybaby.

Like Ballack and other Herrenvolk rolling on the pitch crying after the game

I’m so happy the Krauts lost ;-)
In fact when the Italians scored those two goals in the last minutes, I felt as if I had a multiple orgasm :-)

Ballarsch and Schweinsbacke were an absolute disgrace for their team and it looks like their “carreers” are over.

Dominick, Germany’s manager has lived in beautiful California long before he was asked to manage the new team. He loves Germany so much that he commuted twice a months, about 6000 miles. Nobody would do that for Argentina or Italy because they aren’t worth a damn. Italians are rats: Look what Germany did after they game.. Frings defended himself. You should ban him, so we have a chance. Argentina: Whining, we cannot beat you in soccer, so please let us throw some punches and kicks after the game so we look like men and not like a “remote controlled fruit of the loom”.

At least England, win or lose, deserves respect because they play soccer, so do most of the other countries, except for.. well, you know it yourself.. hate to even type the names.

Sepp, and as far as Mr. Ballack is concerned, he will be earning 250,00 euro a week. I hardly call this over.

This has been fun reading. All i wanna say is: Look at how Germany celebrated a 3rd place! That was simply awesome! I wish everybody could celebrate a defeat that well, instead of kicking other poeple in the nuts or just call it unfair. This world cup was awesome! And to finally shut up hte english critics here: If that was the best english team ever i cannot predict a bright football future for y’all ;)

etDavid, I used the word Herrenvolk (Master race or people) for a very appropriate contrast with th3e sight of Ballack and other German players rolling on the pitch in tears after being defeated.
The Master race crying…it was nice to see.
This in response to your behaviour:because you gracious hosts kept calling Italians crybabies,
delivery pizza men, cheaters and so forth.
As for Frings, who always plays like
a hoodlum and punched someone on the face, you wanted him to get away with it? Nice Herrenvolk you are!
And finally, your celebration of your 3rd place was just a phony show to make believe that you got somewhere. Nobody ever celebrates being third. Come on!!!!!!

David, you are right, as a host Germany didn’t have to qualify.

But they still played several friendly games, in which they did very poorly.

Actually in one of them they were trounced by Italy, 4-1.

Ach, mein Gott!!
