Let’s hope this isn’t a sign of things to come

From Soccerway.com: Italy thrash hapless Germans. Maybe Klinsmann will call Christian Wörns back up to his starting eleven. 4:1 is embarrassing.

What a thrashing! Germany should rethink their tactics before its too late.

Oh, man! How I would like to see that game… the clash of two football giants! The result is quite surprising. Brazil was awful too, but the mighty Germany crash like that???

I hope Ballacks men have other friendly games before june. I would love to see a dramatic revenge final Germany vs Brazil, but Italy is pouring somw wine in the German’s beer.

As Dido once said:
“My tea’s gone cold,I’m wondering why I got out of bed at all
The morning rain clouds up my window and I can’t see at all
And even if I could it’d all be grey…

Good luck! (or not) (lol)

Well.. we know the azzuri’s frontline quite in form right now, but Germans should resolute their defensive Midfielder side and give Ballack more chance as free role skipper. Btw did anybody know the line up?

klinsmann has no clear concept, which he tries hiding by starting all kinds of pseudo-reform approaches to training and tactics and whatnot.

there is no standard lineup, to be honest and he stirred up to much controversy already to have the necessary backup, despite the fact that the critics have so far not been too numerous.

the thursday headlines will be entertaining, lol

if they make it past the group stage, it will be a huge success; germany doesn’t have a solid defense and that will prove to be their undoing (football wise).

zarjaz, you can find the lineup here:

Tomislav, you were right about how entertaining the thursday headlines are. One of my favorites was from the Süddeutsche Zeiting: Deutsche Gegner verlieren – Franzosen auch (German [Group A] opponents lose – and France, too). And according to other stories I read, in Kicker usw. Klinsmann is keeping the same lineup for the friendly against the U.S. I think as time goes on, Klini will realize that Wörns, slow as he is, should have been anchoring the back line.
