Lehmann sets record

May 17th, 2006 | By: Harvey Morrell | 5 Comments »

I’m following along on the internet via the UEFA site – and notice that Jens was sent off in the 18th minute, becoming the first ever player to be sent off in a European Cup final, according to the UEFA ticker. Wonder what Klinsi’s thinking.

THIS IS INSANE!!! the refere has given the match to arsenal, the barcelona goal should have been allowed, clearly!!!!!! then the free kick that led to the arsenal goal did not exist, there was no foul…good god man!!!! I’m so pissed I can’t see straight

Red card was warrented but the referee should have allowed a play on. Then Eboue dives on the other end setting up the Arsenal goal. It is going to be an exciting second half.

Once again, defense alone can’t win. Tele Santana was right: attack is the best football we can find.

Euler, you’re only saying that because you’re from Brazil, the home of attacking football. :) Now if you were from Italy or Germany…
