They defeated Lithuania 2-0 in qualifying for Euro 2004

California Germany Fan - I was mistakenly going by the article I cited in my original post. As Andrew pointed out, they did beat Lithuania (and Scottland) in qualifying for Euro 2004. This isn’t the first time that Yahoo Sports’ reporting has been off. I should have known better than to rely on them.
