YahooSports’ headline gets it exactly right: Smile a lot to ask for from depressed German fans. And that’s before yet another “German” team gets thrashed 4:1 in Italy. Yup, Bayern loses to AC Milan by the same score as the national team. For those of you keeping score at home, Germany’s top 2 keepers have given up 8 goals in 2 games. Is it too late to take back my WC prediction?
