Germany ready for World Cup visitors, says interior minister. I’m wishing all those of you traveling to Germany a fun and safe visit. And if you get the chance, drink a wheat beer for me (unless it’s a Berliner Weisse, then you can drink it for someone else).

Funny you mention wheat beer…I just last night picked up the initial tournament beer stash at the store; Weihenstephaner Hefe-Weiss. My wife asked what I was doing, since I was not going for the normal assortment of American Micro-brews, and I explained it was all-German beer from now until after the final. Prost!
