Germans leave World Cup on a winning note

Germans leave World Cup on a winning note. It was an entertaining game, with action end to end. Bastian had a great game. And best of all, Marcelo Balboa wasn’t on to annoy me.

CONGRATS TO THE ENTIRE GERMAN FOOTBALL TEAM ON THEIR BRONSZ WIN, ALTHOUGH I PREDICTED THEY WILL WIN THE WORLD CUP AND IS MY FAVOURITE TEAM, BUT MY 2ND WISH CAME TRUE WHEN THEY WON THE 3RD PLACE. ME & MY FAMILY FROM THIS SMALL ISLAND-SRI LANKA WISH BALACK AND HIS TEAM THE BEST OF LUCK FOR A GOOD FIGHT THROUGH AND WISH YOU ALL WOULD HAVE THE STRENGTH TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP AS WELL.

LOVE YOUR ENTIRE TEAM
GOOD LUCK
GILLIAN
* PS. MY NEXT PREDICTION TO WIN THE FINAL IS “ITALY” ALTHOUGH MY HUSBAND GOES FOR FRANCE.

ABOUT 3 HRS MORE,WE’LL WAIT PATIENTLY FOR THE RESULTS.

Darius, don’t try to explain anything to Sepp - in another blog he ranted about the vicious German foul, and that Ballack beat in McBride’s nose (USA). Clearly he hasn’t even seen the games, or he’d have remembered that Germany didn’t even play the USA in this tournament, and that that was a clash with a different player from a different team. He doesn’t care about facts.

As if 80 million people would have to be interested in the fact that he’s Germanophobic. Who gives.

And again, well said, Slartibartfast.

Ratatoskr: :)
hehe. The guy is clearly obsessed. Everyone needs something to fantasize about, as long as he stays out of the way of any German woman from my reality… And yes, I too red that in one or two different topics.

It’s assimple as that:

Sepp, du bist ein Depp.

English version:

Sepp, you are a moron.

@Michael Easterling
Glad to hear you are proud of your German roots.
However, this Germancross stuff doesn´t portray TRUE Germany.
I hope the worldcup could show that modern Germany is not this dumpfbacken racist country of the past anymore.

This comment is not totally football related. But the worldcup showed that football is more than just the game!

In diesem Sinne: weltoffenes, tolerantes, freundliches DEUTSCHLAND VOR!!!!

franz is right, we don’t need this antisemitic crap, not here not anywhere, unlike many other nations, germany tries, very succesfully, to handle its past not to deny it, so this nazi-bullshit isn’t helping any german,it just sets us in a bad light. we, as germans, don’ t need it, we don’t want it, we’re sick of it. if you don’t know, to deny the holocaust is crime in germany and austria, so is any kind of sedition, as an american you may find it strange that we confine our freedom of speech, but it’s part of dealing with our past.

Back to topic. WE SURE ROCKED HARD. I’M DAMN PROUD OF WHAT WE ACHIEVED.

WEHRET DEN ANFÄNGEN!

I don’t want any of your well wishes and german pride. Because it’s all for the wrong reasons. Trying to hijack this comments section for your antisemtic holocaust denying bullsh*t is a total disgrace.

It is unanimous: Germany organized a wonderful World Cup, and a great time was had by all.

I don’t want to disrupt this lovefest, but I want to mention the fact that nobody, I repeat nobody, in any previous World Cup, has held a celebration because they came in Third.
And it’s a safe bet that in future World Cups nobody will celebrate the fact that they come in Third.
Just say that you celebrated the success of the event, your perfect organization, and the togetherness of the peoples of many parts of the world.
And of course also the fact that you came third, like Turkey in 2002. But not so much, come on!!!!

By the way:Germany organized a wonderful World Cup, and a great time was had by all.

But the undeniable fact is that the greatest time was had by the Italians.

Yeah, Dominick, I wonder why Italy had such a great time. Aren’t they still duking it out in court? The most boring team won the cup… hope next cup will be fair and played far away from the Italian underworld.

Schoppenhauer:

Schoppy, no wonder you are dejected and pessimistic : your ancestor must be Arthur Schopenhauer ,the philosopher of Suicide.

Poor SoCal instead resorts to insults, so for him I’ll quote an Italian saying, rhyme and all:

” A nightingale’s song in a cage
isn’t a song of love but of rage”.

And where is the famous German hospitality?
You should have the victorious team , the Azzurri, march down Unter den Linden and through the Brandenburg Gate, to the applauses of the German populace.

Ach, mein Gott!
