shonnen gruss,
im watchin all the games this time and just wanted to tell you that they(american media) did not cover 1 min of the opening ceramonys, put a 5 second delay on mexico/iran, and have ‘muffled the sound on every game so far. thank god for univision which has not committed any of these ‘crimes’.i think wavelengths is something the americans need to work on, seems to me you guys have this one in your grasp
truly,
diet

Looks like Germany’s 4-2 win was not an anomaly: we may well have neo-attacking Germans who are not willing to sit back, defend and wait for mistakes so much as assault, assault, assault and let Klause (and maybe Ballack) do the rest. Good, swift, attacking football. The Poles gave us sign of life: they’re not as flat-lined as they were against Ecuador, but still, no spark, no runs, no surprise.

Ballack needs to keep directing traffic and stay out of harm’s way because MOURINHO demands it! I am happy that Klinsi is winning and hopefully on the way to SHUTTING UP The Kaiser!

Dietmar, I agree that some of the U.S. announcers can get on one’s nerves. Tommy Smyth and Shep Messing are particularly grating.

thing is: most of them(announcers)just dont get the game. thats why they keep refering to different sports. its just to bad that they try to put this into a nice neat little box for the soccer moms. this sort of event is really bigger that any one team or star, maybe thats why they do what they do…what they cant control they avoid.
