A Picture’s Worth a Thousand Words

Here are some pictures from today’s game, courtesy of Der Spiegel. I do want to alert SoccerBob that there’s a picture of Ollie Kahn.

I am happy for Germany that they were triumphant against Columbia and that they won 3-0 . Schweinsteiger has run into decent form and I hope he fulfills his potential as a dynamic midfielder . The German defence has stood firm and this will boost the morale of the team. Lehmann must have enjoyed the clean sheet but he cuts a lonely figure in the photo contained in the above blog entry . I wish both Kahn and Lehmann agree to perform at their level best , whenever they are called up for duty. Coach Klinsmann must be delighted by the victory , as it would give his technical staff and himself some relief and peace of mind preceding the mania of the World Cup.

Why are comments off on the last post? Are you afraid that people will get overconfident and congratulate each other too much?

Tomas – no, that’s my fault. I forgot to check the boxes to allow comments and pings. I’ll go back and change it. Thanks for the alert. :)
